a commmissioned chair for the wharton esherick museum.  this chair was created from a single piece of poplar from a fallen poplar tree that the wharton esherick home had been built around.  it was created for a fundraiser group show that featured the work of more than 40 contemporary artisans that made work from the same tree.  see their website for more info: the wharton esherick museum
